Malthouse Gallery, Lyme Regis

It was a wonderful evening on 9th May at the Private View of the LRAS Annual Showcase Exhibition in the Malthouse Gallery at the Town Mill. The Mayor of Lyme Regis, Cllr Philip Evans MBE, was welcomed back to formally open this year’s exhibition.

This year’s Judge was the brilliant portrait artist Jack Dickson.  If you missed him on BBC ONE’s recent Extraordinary Portraits (series 5 episode 5) you have a treat in store, but be warned, there wasn’t a dry eye at the unveiling of Jack’s magnificent portrait.

Prepare to be amazed at the incredible diversity of subjects and media at this year exhibition.

Well done to all who received Judge’s Prizes and Commendations and to Terry for the wonderful photos!
